Does anyone else have a thing in nature, or bit of wildlife, that you think about when you're stressed or worried to calm you down?
It might be a bit obvious, but my mind is always soothed when I picture a snazzy lapwing. Whether it's their peewits and alien-like woops, or the beating and clapping of their gorgeous globby wings, they always manage to cheer me right up 😍
You might've seen in my story I've asked for people's thoughts on 'eco-anxiety'. I feel like the number of lapwings flapping around my brain has been increasing, as I try to subdue the constant worry, dread and anxiety I feel in the face of news and trends with climate, conservation and biodiversity 😩💔 I know a lot of you young'uns will worry about this too, and as part of @newnature_mag
