The Big Winds Moon animal totem, the Cougar.🐆

The Cougar also referred to as a Puma and Mountain Lion, used to be found all across North America until the human race and their expanding civilization and senseless killing limited them to mainly the western states in canyons and high remote mountainous areas.🐆

They are solitary animals with individual non-overlapping territories. They are quite good hunters, moving silently around their prey until they’re ready to move in for the kill. Their mainstay is deer, however, when their food sources are depleted, they have been known to kill livestock merely because they have no other choice. They’ve been known to “circle about” a situation, sometimes several times and from several different angles, before making their move. This is often misinterpreted as being indecisive, however, they are actually assessing the best approach to take, which is in fact, the smart thing to do.🐆

Cougar people like their totem really need their own territory or space and they don’t like others trying to intrude without invitation. They tend to suppress their emotions which can really isolate them from others and create imbalance. When they do finally let years of repressed emotions out, it can be quite the fright for them and others that are witness to this. It would be far more beneficial to have a few trusted people that you can freely express yourself with.🐆

Turquoise is one of my most favorite stones and one of the oldest stones used for protection and adornments. It is found within veins of other rocks, most often with the metals of silver, copper and iron and typically have veins of these other metals running through them🔹

Turquoise is referred to as the Skystone by native peoples and is thought to possess many magical powers. It was thought to protect its wearer from broken bones, injury and danger. Shields adorned with turquoise were believed to deflect weapons and a bow or arrow adorned with turquoise was thought to always hit its mark.🔹

Cougar people, like their stone can possess many powers that are beyond the ordinary making them more capable of understanding the mysteries of the universe than those of other totems. The mystical realms are the comfort zone for cougar people, so they must be careful to stay grounded or they can to get lost in these realms and have a difficult time bringing themselves back.🔹

To understand and use your innate gifts you must be open to life’s experiences, learn from them and do the work necessary to develop them. It’s about learning to soar in the spiritual realms while still being a functional participant on the earth plane. I personally refer to this as, walking with one foot in each world. It’s not the easiest thing to learn how to do but it most definitely can be done.🔹

Aparentemente el día de #SanValentin tiene verdadero origen en una festividad pagana de la antigua Roma (fiesta de Lupercalia), que nada tenía que ver con el concepto que se celebra hoy (y de hecho era bastante violenta), más relacionada a la fertilidad, con sacrificio de cabras y azotes incluidos.

Posteriormente el cristianismo, como suele hacer con todo lo pagano, tomó para sí esa fecha y modificó su sentido con algo más polite y rococó. La leyenda del sacerdote Valentín que fue decapitado (porque el sacrificio y la sangre tiene que estar en algún lado) por casar parejas aunque el emperador de turno había prohibido el matrimonio.
El chango fue declarado Santo por el Papa (también de turno) más de 200 años después, porque ya no querían que mataran cabras y salieran desnudos a fajar a las mujeres con tiras de pellejo del pobre animal (si te fajaban eras más fértil) #NoBabyNo

En su lugar encontraron otras maneras muy creativas de disminuir a las mujeres y así fue como nació el #GirlPoder y las mujeres nos acordamos del amor propio, que es el primer amor que TODOS deberían tener.

Sea cual sea el motivo, siempre es bienvenido el amor en todas sus formas y colores. Celebro que se celebre al menos 1 día al año, la excusa es lo de menos.
