Marry Christmas! 🎄♥️🎉
Had fun playing in the snow yesterday! ❄️
Yesterday I got the pleasure of meeting my new nephew Liam Hernandez I am one lucky aunt! ♥️
My Gryffindor emerged today! I did cardiac rehab plus a little extra, I cleaned the kitchen and the living room, and sorted all of the recycling (a very difficult set of tasks bc usually standing and bending makes me ill and/or syncopal, with intense tachycardia). I unboxed and sorted all of the @brandlessbox dry goods and accoutrement, set up and used my new @pilates_wheel portable reformer. I laid out a dress shirt for my husband who has jury duty tomorrow and sorted all of his shoes, walked Luke, checked the mail, took a short little drive for a decaf iced latte with my Ben and my Luke, played x-box (just me) with my brother and my nephew (#seaofthieves ), made a kitty fort, saved a ten year old girl’s life in London with type 1 via a conversation with her mother in a type 1 group.... I now have a masque on both my face and hair and I’m reading next to two sleeping, snoring boys (after brushing the furrier boys teeth). That all seems so mundane, you probably accomplish all of that and infinitely more, every day with out even thinking about it. But for me, and the rest of the chronically ill, getting out of bed and keeping one meal down that in same way adds more benefit than harm is a victorious day, so to do so much, despite being ill, having horrid pain every which where, a migraine, and low after low, with a very tachy 💔, I did it by gosh and golly! I’ll pay for it tomorrow! But tonight, I’m lying in bed savoring my small victory.
