*These were taken at the halfway point during our hike of The Supai River. The name is the hike is called The Confluence! We had already hiked about 14 miles down The Supai River to were it meets with The Colorado River. *This is a must do hike if you have the stamina and hike prepared. The entire hike from the Havasupai Campgrounds and back is about 26 miles! We packed a camping stove and brought lunch with us. We also made sure we had Sawyer Water filters, so that we could drink from the river. It could be dangerous if you do not bring enough water, as this hike is very strenuous, yet breathtakingly beautiful!
*The Supai river was about 76 degrees and The Colorado River was about 30 degrees! It was fun to feel the drastic difference while exploring the waters! *Added bonus... this hike is always along the water with multiple waterfalls along the way! The two main falls were Beaver Falls and Mooney Falls (which was easily over 100 feet tall). * I cannot wait to hike this again one day!
